January – the perfect time to visit the Lake District!

January is one of the best times to visit the Lakes. You should expect snow on the tops of the fells, and a walk on a clear blue sky day is simply magical. And of course it’s also quieter so you’ll often find yourself soaking up the views alone. When you return from your walk you can relax in the Cottage, load up the wood burner, and admire the views from the leather sofa of Place Fell. What could be better!
